Our professional development workshops are College Board–endorsed and count as an AP Institute for both AP CS Principles and AP CSA. Our AP Cybersecurity workshop is 100% aligned with College Board requirements and expectations.

We strongly encourage educators to attend one of our professional development (PD) workshops if they are new to teaching with the UTeach CS curriculum for that course.

During these in-depth professional development workshops, you will:

• Master AP Course Requirements and College Board Expectations: Gain practical guidance, proven strategies, and clear insights that help you prepare students to succeed on the AP Exam.

Funding Opportunities

Texas High School Teachers: Learn about full funding available from the Texas Education Agency for school districts and open enrollment charter schools through August 2026. 

Texas Middle School Teachers: Learn about scholarships and stipends available to attend our in-person Tech and Play workshops in Arlington, San Antonio, and Austin.

PD Costs

View license and PD costs. Professional development must be purchased with an accompanying curriculum license. Teachers are highly encouraged, but not required, to purchase PD in addition to their license.
